GCSE Results Day - Success and Foundations

Congratulations GCSE students!

After a long week of anticipation, GCSE results were published on Thursday.

There were some exceptional results this year - many students made fantastic improvements in their grades this year. On average, long-term students made a two grade improvement.

One student even improved from a grade 3 to an 8 which is an exceptional transformation. It just shows what potential is out there. With a focused, structured, detailed approach, great things can happen.

The biggest win for me is that all students achieved grades that allow them to take the next step in their education and training - with a view eventually to building their future lives. Students put in focused work week-in, week-out, to ensure they give themselves the best opportunity to succeed. It's always good to see a cohort achieve their grades and move forward with optimism and confidence.

The GCSEs are a key platform that serve as a starting point for many fantastic future careers.
